Family Literacy Night
A Theme Park Adventure Inspiring Lifelong Readers
On December 5th, E.A. White Elementary School buzzed with excitement as it hosted Family Literacy Night. This engaging event was crafted to inspire Lion families to discover innovative methods to support their children's reading habits at home.
The event featured a delightful theme park atmosphere, with each grade level team offering a unique reading activity for students and their families. As they moved through the various stations, students received punch cards to track their participation, adding an element of adventure to the evening.Â
The event not only fostered a love for reading but also strengthened the bond between the school and its community. Families left with new strategies to make reading a joyful and integral part of their daily lives.
Ms. Sanders, co-coordinator for Literacy Night, expressed delight at the turnout, stating, "The turnout at our Literacy Night was nothing short of spectacular! It's a true testament to our community's dedication to fostering a love for reading and learning. We're deeply grateful for everyone's participation and support. Thank you for making this event extraordinary!"
Family Literacy Night was a tremendous success, leaving students and parents eager for more opportunities to learn and grow together. The enthusiasm generated during the event has set the stage for even more exciting initiatives in the future, and we can’t wait to see how families will continue to engage and flourish in their educational journeys.
