A Warm Welcome to E.A. White's Newcomers!

We are thrilled to have so many new faces joining us at our school. In light of this, we'd like to take a moment to share our Dismissal Procedures video. Even if you've been with us for a while, it's a great refresher. Let's work together to make this school year an amazing one!

At the end of the day, our students will be dismissed through various exit points based on their dismissal procedures. Here’s a breakdown of how our dismissal process works:

Car Riders
Students who are picked up by car will be dismissed from the designated car rider area. Please ensure you have your car rider tag visible to help our staff quickly and safely match students with their rides.

Bus Riders
Students who ride the bus will be escorted to the bus loading zone. Our staff will ensure that each student boards the correct bus.

SAS Riders
Students enrolled in the School-Age Services (SAS) program will be dismissed to the SAS area where they will be supervised until picked up by the SAS bus.

Walkers
Walker dismissal is divided into three categories to ensure the safety of all our students:

  1. Walkers (Grades 2-5): These students are independent and allowed to walk home unaccompanied. They will be released from the lower level to walk up the hill to Patton Village.
  2. Sibling-Walkers (Grades 2-5): Students in grades 2-5 are allowed to walk younger siblings home and will be released through the playground doors.
  3. Parent-Walkers (Grades PK-1): Students in grades PK-1 without older siblings must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. They will be released through the playground doors.

Our dismissal procedure requires significant coordination among our staff. Therefore, any changes to dismissal plans must be communicated to the front office by 1:00 p.m. This ensures that both students and teachers are properly informed of the changes. Please note that frequent changes to dismissal procedures are not permitted.

We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines to ensure a smooth and safe dismissal for all our students. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
