Throughout the day, our students were enthralled by the stories read to them and the interactions with our esteemed guests. The event not only promoted literacy but also provided an opportunity for students to connect with community leaders and learn about different professions.

Read Across America Week is important because it emphasizes the value of reading as a foundational skill for academic success and personal growth. By bringing community leaders into the classroom, students see firsthand the importance of reading in various careers and life paths. This event helps to create a vibrant and supportive learning environment, encouraging our students to become lifelong readers and learners.
