Message from Admin

As the vibrant colors of fall begin to paint the trees around Fort Benning, our students at E.A. White Elementary continue to shine through another productive and engaging week of learning. The soon to be crisp air and golden leaves remind us that change is beautiful and so is the growth we see in our classrooms every day.

As the seasons begin to shift, we’ve noticed the weather changing too, bringing cooler mornings and now the occasional rainy afternoon. Due to the forecasted inclement weather on Thursday, we unfortunately had to cancel the PTO-sponsored Lunch with Lions event. While we were disappointed not to welcome families to campus this time, we’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to enjoy lunch together on a sunny, fair-weather day!

With just one week left in the first quarter, let’s stay focused, finish strong, and continue supporting one another in our learning journey. Thank you for being such an important part of our school community.

Have a safe and joyful weekend!

In Partnership,
Mrs. Thorne, Principal
Mrs. Enyeart, Assistant Principal

Breakfast Reminder

🚗 Morning Arrival Tips for a Smooth Start
Help your child start the day right by following these quick reminders:

  • Drop-Off Window: The school opens for arrivals at 8:00 AM. Please do not arrive earlier, as staff will not be available to supervise.
  • Breakfast: Breakfast is available from 8:00 AM to 8:20 AM. If your child would like to have breakfast at school, please ensure they arrive early enough to finish eating and get to class by 8:30 AM.
  • Ready for Class: All students must be in their classrooms and ready for instruction by 8:30 AM.
  • Late Arrivals: Students arriving at 8:30 AM or later are considered tardy and must be signed in by an adult in the office.

Special Note:
Morning clubs meet on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:15 AM. Please do not arrive earlier than the club’s start time, as no adults are available to supervise before then.

Thanks for helping us keep mornings safe, smooth, and on time!

Shining Stars This Month

Star Staff Dr. Williams

We recognized Dr. Williams, Strategic Math Interventionist, as our Star Staff of the Month! Dr. Williams is known for her dedication, loyalty, and trustworthiness. Her focus is always on doing what’s best for students and our school. She quietly moves throughout E.A. White, offering support wherever it’s needed. Please join us in celebrating Dr. Williams for her outstanding commitment and the positive impact she makes every day.

Star Students for Loyalty

We also celebrated our Star Students in a special ceremony, recognizing their outstanding commitment to the value of Loyalty. These students exemplify what it means to be dependable, supportive, and true to their peers and school community. We were honored to welcome our Partners in Education (PIE) representative SSG Evan Bingham, a Military Intelligence Advisor with 1st SFAB, who spoke to our students and helped present the awards. Thank you for your inspiring words and continued support! For October, we look forward to recognizing the Army Value of the month – Responsibility!
