Message from Admin

We’ve had a fantastic week! Picture Day went exceptionally well! A big thank you to all our amazing volunteers who helped the day run smoothly. Your support means a lot and truly makes a difference.

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us for our Curriculum Night! It was wonderful to see so many of you connecting with our staff and learning more about what your child is experiencing in the classroom. We hope you left with helpful ideas on how to support your child’s learning at home.

Looking ahead, next week is full of exciting opportunities for our students in grades 2–5, as both before-school and after-school clubs kick off. Please also note that Tuesday is an Early Release Day (ERD), with dismissal at 2:30 PM. That same morning, we invite you to join us for Parent University at 10:30 AM, where we’ll share valuable insights and resources to support your child’s academic journey. This is a valuable resource for parents, and we encourage you to RSVP. You’ll find all the details below in this newsletter.

On Thursday, September 11, we will observe Patriot Day in remembrance of 9/11. We encourage everyone to wear red, white, and blue as we honor this important day together.

We are truly grateful for your continued partnership and we never take it for granted. Wishing you and your family a phenomenal weekend!

In partnership,
Mrs. Thorne, Principal
Mrs. Enyeart, Assistant Principal

Tip from the Front Office

Please wait in the Line

✅ DO: Use the Car Rider Line for student pick-up and drop-off. It’s designed for safety, efficiency, and staff supervision.

🚫 DON’T: Park in the school lot to drop off or pick up your child. This creates safety concerns and disrupts traffic flow.

Stay in the line. Follow the flow. Be a dismissal pro!

National Day of Service and Remembrance

Mrs. Archuleta Transitions to School Psychologist Role

We are pleased to share that Mrs. Archuleta, one of our dedicated school counselors, has transitioned into the role of school psychologist. She brings valuable experience and insight to this position, having previously served as a school psychologist within DoDEA. This school year, Mrs. Archuleta will support students at both E.A.
