We Signed with Pride!
Students pledge school values on a banner for Constitution Day.
Students at E.A. White Elementary came together to celebrate Constitution Day with a meaningful activity focused on citizenship and community values. From UPK through fifth grade, every student took part by reading the school pledge and signing their name on a large banner displayed in the hallway.
The event helped students connect the idea of civic responsibility to their everyday actions at school. Just like the original signing of the Constitution in 1787, each student’s signature represented a personal promise to follow school rules and show respect, responsibility, and pride in their school.
The banner will stay up all year as a reminder of this shared commitment. School leaders hope this tradition will continue to build a strong sense of community and encourage students to take ownership of their role in creating a positive learning environment.
