Leadership Club Improves Lost and Found

Leadership Club has taken charge of organizing our school’s Lost and Found. Students noticed the growing pile of unclaimed items and wanted to help families reconnect with misplaced belongings. As Lucas M. said, “The lost and found was piling up and getting very messy.” Nia T. added, “It became a big problem, and we were running out of space.”

With support from staff, the club moved the Lost and Found to the front of the Information Center and arranged everything on racks and hangers. “Putting the clothes on hangers has helped,” Nia said. Students now maintain the area daily and sort items so they are easy to browse.

The club hopes this project helps classmates quickly find missing items and encourages families to label jackets, sweaters, and lunchboxes. “Students can see and easily locate their items,” Meah P. said.

Any unclaimed items at the end of the school year will be washed and donated to local organizations on Fort Benning.

If your child is missing something, this is a great time to stop by and take a look.
