Ms. Martha L. Enyeart
Biography
The Georgia-Alabama Community Superintendent, Dr. Lisa B. Coleman, is pleased to announce Mrs. Martha Enyeart as the Assistant Principal of Edward A. White Elementary School in the Southeast District at Fort Benning, Georgia. Mrs. Martha Enyeart will assume her duties on August 24, 2025.
Mrs. Enyeart, originally from the town of Boring, Oregon, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington and a Master of Education degree in Administration, Curriculum, and Supervision from University of Oklahoma. With a deeply rooted belief that every child has the potential to learn, grow, and thrive, Mrs. Enyeart serves as a dedicated school administrator committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive school environment. Elevating relationships, teamwork and collaboration, she leads with the conviction that consistency, support, and high expectations are the cornerstones of student and school success.
Beginning her DoDEA education career in 1994 as an elementary teacher in the Kaiserslautern District near Ramstein, Germany, Mrs. Enyeart, the spouse of an Air Force airman at that time, was able to teach at their duty assignments near Ramstein, Luke Air Force base in Arizona, and back in the Kaiserslautern District before his retirement. During these teaching assignments, Mrs. Enyeart served in many school-based and district leadership roles to include working alongside district personnel with the induction of multiple, new curricular programs. During their second stint in Germany, she was selected as an Adjunct Professor for The University of Phoenix in the Master of Education Teacher Certification program out of the Ramstein Overseas Office, receiving Faculty of the Year recognition in 2011.
Mrs. Enyeart has over two decades of experience as a DoDEA educator, having served military communities across Europe, the Pacific and now the Americas. Her leadership journey includes Special Education focused Assistant Principal roles at Sollars Elementary in Japan, Wiesbaden Elementary in Germany, and currently as Principal of Sembach Elementary School, also in Germany, where she has proudly led “Tiger Nation” into a new 21st Century learning facility, opening later this fall. Throughout her career, she has focused on building strong, collaborative relationships with students, families, and staff. Mrs. Enyeart is dedicated to empowering educators, fostering a culture of trust, and promoting a shared commitment to excellence. She believes in the power of a growth mindset, the importance of social-emotional learning, and the need for innovative teaching practices to ensure every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to succeed.
Mrs. Enyeart and her retired Air Force Veteran husband are honored to be joining the EA White Elementary School community. They are proud parents of two children who are both graduates of DoDEA high schools. Their daughter, Katherine, also a DoDEA educator, currently teaches in the Kaiserslautern District, and son, Christian, is serving in the US Navy, stationed in Yokosuka, Japan. They are looking forward to returning to the United States and exploring the Southeast with their two dogs, Blue and Buster.
As she joins the Edward A. White Elementary community, Mrs. Enyeart is looking forward to collaborating with all stakeholders to help shape today’s students into tomorrow’s leaders.
